PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor thermal recording material having small skin fog and high whiteness with clarity of distinction between a blue or green image of low temperature color developing and a black image of high temperature color developing. SOLUTION: A thermal color developing layer provided on a support contains composite fine particles containing at least one type of polymer substance selected from polyurea and polyurethane, at least one type of black color developable dye precursor and at least one type of red or yellow color developable dye precursor, or fat least two types of composite fine particles containing at least one type of polymer substance selected from polyurea and polyurethane, and black color developable red or yellow color developable dye precursors, solid fine particles of blue or green color developable dye precursor, and developable compound for generating color developing reaction with the black color developable precursor, red or yellow color developable dye precursor, and blue or green color developable dye precursor by heating. |
