METHOD OF SEPARATING AUXILIARY PILE FROM MAIN PILE IN NON-STOP PAPER DISCHARGING DEVICE OF SHEET PRINTER, AND NON-STOP PAPER DISCHARGING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To push in an auxiliary pile support base without hindrance so as not to generate shifting and deformation of sheets by fixing the position of an uppermost sheet of a main pile and a plurality of sheets following thereunder, within a range of the front edges of the sheets. SOLUTION: A sheet 2 is fed in a sheet travel direction 9 to a main pile 5 by gripper mechanism 3. The main pile 5 is placed on a paper discharge base that can descend as the height of the main pile 5 increases. When the height of the main pile 5 reaches specified height, a sheet front edge lifter 14 is actuated by a sensor while continuing printing work, and after the sheet front edge lifter 14 is turned in a range of the main pile 5 and an auxiliary pile 28 directly below the circulating gripper mechanism 3 in the state of being inclined at an acute angle to a horizontal plane, the front edge range of the arriving sheet 2 is supported by the sheet front edge lifter 14 to form the auxiliary pile 28. The main pile 5 further descends and can be conveyed out after pushing-in of an auxiliary pile support base 12 so as not to generate damaged paper.
