HORIZONTAL MOVEMENT BY LINEAR MOTOR OF CAR ROOM BETWEEN ELEVATOR AND BOGIE PLATFORM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system performing horizontal movement of a car room between an elevator and a bogie platform by a linear motor. SOLUTION: In a car room 13, a carriage 15 provided with wheels is fixed, so as to move between a rail on an elevator car frame 22 and a similar rail of a bogie 28 provided with wheels. Each end part of the rail is scarf jointed in a complementary manner, giving a temporary semi-peripheral joint between the rail of the bogie 28 and the rail of the car frame 22. A motion is given by a start side primary part arranged in the car frame 22 and the bogie 28 and a passive type secondary part arranged in the car room carriage. Motor control is performed in response to a magnetic sensing linear displacement transducer.
