PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a grade of a zinc concentrate by treating a fine particle concentrate with a predetermined particle size or less in a concentrate obtained by roughly dressing a zinc ore by using a column flotation machine and treating a coarse particle concentrate with a predetermined particle size or more in a concentrate obtained after rough dressing by using a mechanical stirring type flotation machine. SOLUTION: The concentrate C1 among concentrates C1 , C2 obtained by rough dressing using a mechanical stirring type flotation machine is a part having a high grade and a fine particle size while the concentrate C2 is a part having a low grade and a coarse particle size. The zinc grade of the former C1 is about 48-52% and that of the latter C2 is about 30-35%. Next, the roughly dressed concentrate C2 is classified by a cyclone to be separated into fine particles and coarse particles. These fine particles and the roughly dressed concentrate C are subjected to floteation treatment using a column flotation machine and a concentrate C is sent to a zinc refining process while tailing T, is repeatedly subjected to rough dressing. The coarse particles are subjected to flotation treatment using a mechanical stirring type flotation machine and a concentrate C5 is sent to the zinc refining process while tailing T, is repeatedly subjected to rough dressing. By this constitution, a grade of a zinc concentrate after flotation is enhanced. |
