Process for applying a decorative surfacing material to a moulded article comprises (1) forming a moulded article using the direct process, having a free surface of non-woven material in the areas that are to be covered; (2) applying an adhesive to the non-woven surface of the moulding and (3) pressing the decorative surfacing material into the moulding. Also claimed is a decorative surfacing material.
