The present invention describes a method of electronic control and programming for a solar water heater. The electronic solar water heater includes the collector, the boiler and the electronic system with a detector-computer- programmer. The electronic system includes 2 sensors immersed in, or adjacent to, the boiler, the electronic box with the computer-detector-programmer and the electronic-digital board with indicator lights. All operations of the solar water heater can be controlled from within the house through the method of electronic control and programming. The electronic system of the electronic solar water heater provides a facility for continuous control of the water temperature through an electronic board with a digital display and continuous digital display of the time. The electronic board is surface-mounted inside the house at a prominent point of choice. It also gives a choice of automatic daily or weekly programming of temperature at specific hours and the facility to adjust the temperature manually; more specifically, a choice of up to four programmes a day. The system with the computer-detector in the electronic solar water heater detects any fault in resistance which it shows by an indicator light on the electronic board as well as an insufficient quantity of antifreeze fluid, also by indicator light, so as always to achieve maximum performance from the solar heater. The advantages shown by the electronic solar water heater due to the electronic control and programming are: energy economy (due to detection of faults there are no losses), economy in electrical energy (due to the temperature display and programming which, if necessary, puts the resistance into operation for exactly as long as needed). Finally it is evident on the basis of the above advantages that the solar water heater also brings about a saving of money. |
