摘要

(A) Cpds. of general formula: - (I) in both cis- and trans- forms. - R1=H or (1-6C) alkyl and - R2, R3, R4=(1-6C) alkyl - R1R2N may also form a heterocyclic residue - (B) Acid addn. salts of I. - Analgesics with low toxicity and few side effects. Dose 15-50 mg/kg. - IV need not be isolated, but may be prepd. and used in situ. - (b) R1R2NH + R4CH2CR4=CR4-CHO - (Intermediate) - (c) cis and trans-I may be sepd. - (i) as in US.587,673 i.e. by fract. crystalln. of the naphthalene-1,5-disulphonates. - The trans form is more active than the cis, and the cis may be converted to the trans (c.f. US.690,974).
