The invention relates to a method for the manufacture of a hinge. According to the method the hinge is manufactured so that in the holes in arms 4a, 4b of the hinge leaf 2, rolled at the ends, a hinge pin 3 is arranged between the arms 4a, 4b, following which a fixing pin 1 is welded to the hinge pin 3. The ends of the holes in the arms 4a, 4b may furthermore be threaded for insertion of steel screws 6, thereby giving an adjustable hinge. Furthermore a casing, especially a decorative casing 8 can be arranged as protection for the section between the arms 4a, 4b of the hinge pin 3 as well as for protection of the section between the frame section of the fixing pin 1 and the hinge pin 3. The invention furthermore relates to a hinge, the fixing pin 1 of which is fixed by welding to a hinge pin 3 arranged beforehand in holes of the arms 4a, 4b. The hinge may furthermore include steel screws 6 for guiding the hinge leaf 2 in relation to the hinge pin 3 coupled to the fixing pin 1. Furthermore the hinge may include a decorative casing 8, which protects visible sections of the hinge pin 3 and the fixing pin 1. <IMAGE>
