<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency in the paper-sheet feeding work, in a paper- sheet feeding device such as a copying machine, by contriving the device in such a way that when the lowering number of a paper-sheet placing table is specified, the lowering amount based on the preset lowering amount for one time is set, so that the placing table can be lowered by the set amount. CONSTITUTION:The lowering mode of a paper-sheet placing table in the case of the paper-sheet feeding is changed over by a mode changeover switch 27 from the composite-paper mode to the ordinary mode. In the ordinary mode, the table is lowered from the elevated position to the lowered position. In the composite-paper mode, the table is lowered from the elevated position by a specified amount in a prescribed lowering unit. And the lowering amount is set in such a way that each time an elevating/lowering switch 26 is pressed a prescribed amount is lowered, for instance, total lowering amount is set to 500 parts, and the lowering amount is set as a counter number. When the paper- sheet placing table starts to lower, the number of the detecting signals of a moving amount detecting switch is counted, and this is substracted from a set counting number. And, when the counting number reaches zero, the paper- sheet placing table is stopped.</p> |
