A process for cleaning textiles involves spreading out the textiles (6) in a cleaning drum (4), fastening and cleaning them and drying them through supply of heat. The textiles (6) are spread out in a dry condition, the drum (4) is brought to a spinning speed and spinning speeds are maintained throughout the cleaning process without interruption.
