摘要 The method includes the step of receiving magnetic resonance signals emitted by an object in an examination room by an antenna with a homogenous sensitivity distribution. The received signals are position-encoded with respect to a coordinate direction. Image data with a local resolution is produced from the received signals in the form of first intensity values (60). The emitted magnetic resonance is received by a local antenna, and image data is formed with respect to the coordinate direction in form of a second set of intensity values (62,64). The second intensity values are normalised with respect to the corresponding first intensity values, and the largest value of the normalised intensity values is determined. A coordinate value corresponding to the largest intensity value gives the position of the at least one local antenna in the coordinate direction.
