Multilayer plastic insulating container with e.g. domestic uses

This new method manufactures multilayer insulating containers in plastic. It is new in that the construction of the individual layers, of which there are at least three, is effected from inside, outwards. Preferably, the plastic inner body is made first. This may be multilayered, and prepared conventionally. Foam is applied externally, using a known foaming process, to a defined thickness. Two outer shells are made, using conventional techniques. These are placed around the intermediate product, and joined by any suitable means, to form the outer body and surface of the insulating container. The container (also claimed) resists microwaves and impacts, protecting the goods to be stored. The forms are optional, and the useful volume forms a large proportion of the external volume.
