Immersion bath heater for heating flowing liquids

The immersion bath heater (1) is fitted in a container through a relatively small manhole. A tube (2) projects over the liquid surface, for locating the electrical heating elements (31-35) in the liquid, and the electrical connecting lines (7) in the locating tube (2). A distributor box (4) is located in the tube (2), and several heating elements (31-35) in a bundle form are arranged outside the locating tube (2). Connecting tubes (311, 321, 331, 341, 351) are arranged between the distributor box (4) and the heating elements (31-35). Several heating elements (31-35) are arranged in a star configuration. The axes (A2, Fig. 1) of the heating elements (31-25) run parallel to the axis (A1) of the locating tube (2). The heating elements with their lower end faces are connected with the locating tube, by a baseplate or a base star, and with their upper ends are connected respectively by a connecting tube (311-351) to the distributor box (4).
