A collagen casing for sausage having a structure similar to that of the intestine and a process for manufacturing the same. The casing is prepared from a first collagen dispersion and a second collagen dispersion, and the first collagen dispersion constitutes a first oriented face and second oriented face, while the second collagen dispersion constitutes a third oriented face disposed on the second oriented face.
