Driven rotating bearing for supporting and turning building

The bearing has a large area sliding bearing comprising a sliding plate (3) on the underside of a bearing top plate (5), which in turn is attached to the underside of the building base plate (4). The sliding plate rotates about a bearing (8) on a bearing base plate (2) which is supported by the foundation plate (1). The sliding plate has pockets (7) for grease and has teeth (3a) around its circumference. An endless chain (12) engages the circumferential teeth on the sliding plate and two pairs of diametrically opposite, double acting, hydraulic cylinder driven chain wheels to rotate the building (4a).
