Disc sieve for separating material which is difficult to sieve

The disc sieve has several parallel turning shafts (2) carrying discs (3) alongside each other. The discs on the first of two adjacent shafts are engaged in the gaps of the other shaft and vice versa. The discs have scrapers (5, 5') against the side surfaces of adjacent discs. The scrapers consist of a base body (7, 7') of a ferrous material and a scraper element (8, 8') of hard metal. The scraper element has a front surface (9) in the direction of motion. Its thickness is limited to part of the cross section of the scraper.
