FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying vacuum plasma spray to coat denture base with intermediate titanium and chrome mixture layer and protection layer made from titanium nitride. The intermediate and protection layer are applied at different temperature ranges. The intermediate layer is applied at 200-300 C and the protection layer is applied at 400-500 C. Metallographic examinations show no integrity disorders, cracks both in the soldering areas and on mastication surfaces. EFFECT: enhanced wear resistance and biological indifference of metal artificial denture.
