Heating and air-conditioning device for road vehicle

The heating and air-conditioning module incorporates a fan (3) in a housing with an air intake filter (17) drawing in air from just under the windscreen. There is a flap valve (9) under the fan, which may adopt one of two positions. When the flap valve is in the first position, it allows air to flow into a heater (8). When the flap valve is in the second position, air from the fan is directed to flow through the evaporator (5) of a refrigeration plant in order to cool it. Air from the heater may be discharged into the same channel as air which has passed through the cooler.
