The invention relates to a cartridge for containing material in paste form, havi ng a cylindrical container unit, an outlet tip with an outlet passage disposed at one end of the container unit at an angle to its axis, a protective cap encasing the out let tip, a fastening means disposed at the second end of the cylindrical container unit, which is provided for mounting the cartridge in an ejector device, and with a pi ston having a cylindrical circumferential surface and disposed for movement in the longitudinal direction of the cartridge and is provided for sealing off the cart ridge interior as well as for dispensing the paste material. In order to attach the ca rtridge securely to an ejector device and assure a high standard of hygiene, the end of the outlet tip remote from the container unit, at which an outlet orifice is dispose d, is at a radial distance from the axis of the container unit that is no more than exact ly as great as the radius of the container unit, the fastening means being configured as a screw thread and the protective cap as a cylinder closed at one end, whose insid e diameter is at least just as great as the outside diameter of the container unit , the protective cap encasing the container unit. The invention furthermore relates to a protective cap for the cartridge, as well as an ejector device for handling the cartridge. |
