FIELD: manufacture of helicopters; manufacture of blades of helicopter main rotors. SUBSTANCE: tail compartment are bonded to rear wall of spar subjected to tensile prestress due to bending the spar in plane of chords in the fixture, for example whose base is curvilinear in direction ensuring tension in rear wall of spar; curvature radius is found from the following formula: R = Eh/sigmabend, where E is mounted of elasticity of spar material; h is distance from trailing edge of spar to its neutral axis in bending in plane of maximum rigidity; sigmabend is wanted magnitude of additional compressive stresses in frontal section of skin of tail compartments.
