A battery-filter consists of an open-topped hollow T-bar (3) with a hollow vertical centre-section (2), the two being linked by a nipple (12) orifice (4). Liquid especially distilled water is released to the nipple by a tube (6) with a side-bore (7) inserted into the T-bar (1). The tube is secured in position by a half-tube (8) with eg. teeth (9). The teeth are capable of interlocking with matching teeth (10) on the lower open T-bar.
