Central control and monitoring system for domestic appliances

The system has a central control computer (7) connected via a data communications system (5) to the domestic appliances (1-4) which are also connected to each other via the data communications system. The control computer can acquire programme and equipment data from the domestic appliances via the data communications system. The control computer contains a transmitter (9) for wireless transmission of data which is in radio communications with a receiver (11) in a display device (10).
