FIELD: cigarette industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves storing predetermined amount of tobacco leaves in hermetically sealed sacks preventing tobacco from drying; selecting at least one sack and inserting it, one at a time, into reception opening of dispensing device, which cuts tobacco leaves to produce predetermined amount of finely ground tobacco; feeding finely ground tobacco to casing filling position for automatic filling of cigarette casings with ground tobacco to produce cigarettes which are ejected or dispensed to user.
