FIELD: industrial synthesis of organic compounds; treatment of drinking water and sewage; analysis of organic compounds and nitrogen oxides. SUBSTANCE: oxygen or nitrogen/oxygen mixture with addition of 0.001-0.1 vol.% NH3 are fed into ozonizer, followed by generating corona discharge therein by applying simultaneously direct-current voltage and pulsed-current voltage, pulse frequency being f=2-100 Hz. Ozone yield is 0.015-0.30 vol.%. EFFECT: lower energy consumption; environmentally safe process. 1 tbll
