A liquid rheological additive for organic systems, which is pourable at ambient temperatures when free of diluent and imparts thixotropy to the system, is the reaction product (A) of: (a) at least one active hydrogen compound containing at least two active hydrogen moieties; (b) at least one compound containing at least two moieties capable of reacting with the active hydrogens in (a); and (c) least one compound, different from (a) and (b), containing at least three moieties one of which is capable of reacting with the product of (a) and (b).
