The colour chamber on the face side from the side walls is closed and has a colour feed together with a chamber body with circular inner space. The colour feed (8) introduces the colour as far as possible axially, pref. centrally to the colour roller (9) in the colour chamber (1). Alternatively, the colour can be fed tangentially to the colour roller in its direction of rotation in the colour chamber. The colour outflow conducts away the colour on the face side, pref. centrally to the colour roller, with a face side colour input on the opposite side out of the colour chamber. The colour chamber in the rotary direction of the raster roller (2) is limited by a work wiper (3) with a negative work angle (α).
