Data transmission method especially in GSM communication system

The method involves using a predefined frame format for transferring data. The data flow between code converters (TCE1,TCE2) associated with the subscribers (Tl1,Tl2) is divided into a first data flow with sampling values for transmission and a second data flow with signal parameters for useful data reconstruction and/or signalling for transparent pass-through. The divided data flows are transferred simultaneously, especially during a link construction phase. During an existing connection, identification information is sent periodically for a predefined period at intervals, especially if the transparent connection is lost.
