Lid for soft top storage compartment

The hood housing lid is used for storing a folded-up hood and can be moved by a drive from a closed position into an elevated open position and vice versa. The lid is able to be fixed in the closed position through at least one releasable locking device on the fixed body. The drive for adjusting movement of the lid has an operative connection with at least one locking device through a mechanical device and serves to lock or unlock the lid. To hold the lid in the closed position, several locking devices are provided. By means of the mechanical device, with opening and closing of the hood first the locking devices of the lid are shifted into a release position and then the adjustment movement of the lid takes place.
