Method for simultaneously conditioning and/or fixing or dyeing human hair comprises mixing an aqueous(-alcoholic) formulation containing at least one hair conditioning substance and/or film-forming agent with a water soluble or dispersible powder formulation containing at least one water soluble direct dye and then applying the homogeneous composition to the hair.
