The mill has a container (1) for the material being ground, with a rotor (3) in it, forming a milling cavity (7) with input and output apertures (9, 9', 10, 10') for the material (22) and to receive the grinding bodies (21). The internal shape (17) of the container and the external shape (18) of the rotor are in the form of a double truncated cone. The larger cross sections of these (8, 8') are connected to each other and the smaller ones (5) point outwards. The surfaces of the truncated cones are so angled that at least one input aperture is in the middle (23) of the milling cavity and at least one output aperture is in its outer region (20).
