The steam chamber for heating the pot is divided into compartments extending along the bottom and wall of the pot. Cooking is carried out using a pot (2) that preferably has a capacity of up to 500 l, the steam being supplied to a chamber extending along the outside and bottom of the pot. The steam chamber is divided into separate compartments, one of which (13) extends along the bottom of the pot, whilst another compartment (7-9) extends along the pot wall. |
