Data transfer method especially between two subscribers in GSM communication system

The method involves transferring data between a called and a calling subscriber (Tl1,Tl2) using a predefined frame format. The data flow between encoding devices (TCE1,TCE2) associated with the subscribers is divided into a first data flow with sampling values for transmission and into a second data flow with signal parameters for useful data reconstruction and/or signalling for transparent connection. During connection set-up, alternate data packets of simultaneously transferred sampling values and identification information are transmitted instead of the signal parameters and a pure sample value. The alternating transmission is maintained until an acknowledgement is performed by the encoding device of the responding subscriber, especially of the identification information.
