<p>A device for sealing the closing seam of a germ-free filled package made from plastic coated paper in germ-free conditions in a clean room; where, in the direction of movement of a sealing jaw, a drive mechanism having a hydraulic cylinder using germ-free water as the hydraulic fluid, and being provided with a piston rod, is connected to the sealing jaw. Behind the sealing jaw the drive member is fixed in a stationary manner to a retaining frame. In front of the sealing jaw and in the direction of movement of the sealing jaw, a counter jaw is securely fixed onto the retaining frame.</p> |
