The card includes a device for playing a tune or verbal message and has mounting slots for the article. When seated in the slots, the article interrupts the electrical circuit of the device, preventing playback of the tune or message. On removal of the article, a switch of the device closes to complete an electrical circuit which causes the aural greeting to sound.
