PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-transmission line in which water repellency can be maintained for a long period, the sticking of water drops and ice and snow to the power-transmission line is prevented, and power-transmission loss can be reduced. SOLUTION: A surface layer containing photocatalyst particles, water- repellent silicone, and a substance which prevents the water-repellent silicone becoming hydrophilic due to the photoexcitation of the photocatalyst is formed on a base material surface in the power-transmission line. Alternatively a layer containing the photocatalyst particles and the water-repellent silicone is formed on the base material surface, and further the substance which prevents the water-repellent silicone becoming hydrophilic due the photoexcitation of the photocatalyst is fixed at least onto one part of the layer surface thereof. |
