PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reflect the adjustment intention of a listener onto an acoustic signal by entering the adjustment intention of the listener to the acoustic signal through the use of subjective sound color expression words ad applying signal processing to the acoustic signal based on the result of analyzing factors of sound colors. SOLUTION: A listener operates input sections 11-16 to input the adjustment intention to an acoustic signal by using sound color expression words. A factor analysis means 2 integrates 6 inputs into four factors to analyze the inputs and a parameter calculation means 3 calculates parameters for each of four factors; lightness factor, aesthetic and emotional factor, softness factor and quantitative and spatial factor. A signal processing means 4 detects states of the four factors from the acoustic signal input timewise and compares the factors with the parameters fed from the parameter calculation means 3 and provides the output of the acoustic signal when there are any difference between them. Thus, the the adjustment intention of the listener is easily reflected on an output acoustic signal. |
