PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter for noncontact memory card system hardly affected by an external magnetic influence, stable in operation, and superior in reliability. SOLUTION: The main body 11 of the adapter device 10 contains a power supply connector 15 for supplying a source to a power supply connector 21 provided in a memory card 20, and a signal transferring connector 16 for performing the transmitting/receiving of a signal with a signal transferring connector 22 provided in the memory card 20. A metal layer 19 for covering the setting part of the power supply connectors 15 and 21 and the setting part of the signal transferring connectors 16 and 22 is provided at the inner side of a cover board 12 attached to the front and the back of the main body 11. The cover board 12 can be formed of a metallic material such as magnetic stainless or the like, and also can be formed of a nonmagnetic plastic material. |
