PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain control information for controlling the method for reproducing multimedia information from a code pattern including the multimedia information. SOLUTION: A dot code 20 is assumed to include sound information and a control signal for controlling the reproducing output of the above sound information, and the picture data of the dot code 20 is stored in a binary memory 48. The sound information is restored by a marker detecting part 50, a block address detecting part 52, a read point detecting part 54, a reading part 56, a block data memory 58, a macro-block header reading part 60, an EC part 62 and an expanding part 64, the restored information is stored in a sound signal memory 66, and the control signal is extracted therefrom by a control signal extracting part 68. Thus, a reproducing part 70 reproduces and outputs the sound information stored in the sound signal memory 66 based on this control signal. |
