摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent nonconformity such as a rich misfire or the like from occurring and to stabilize combusting, condition, in this internal combustion engine which is equipped with a brake booster and can make a stratified combustion. SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve 11 is set up in an inner wall peripheral part of a cylinder head 4 in and around both first and second inlet valves 6a and 6b of an engine 1, and fuel out of this fuel injection valve 11 is sprayed into a cylinder 1a directly. In addition, a brake booster 71 to secure braking force of a vehicle is installed in an air intake duct 20 at the more downstream side than an electronic controlled type throttle valve 23. An electronic control unit(ECU) 30 performs the confinement control of this throttle valve 23 in the case where brake booster inner relative pressure is smaller than the reference value. Here, in the case where this confinement control in time of stratified combustion is carried out, the electronic control unit(ECU) 30 starts it injection being shifted to a timing control side as far as a portion of a injection timing compensation term conformed to the size of a confinement compensation term, from the fundamental injection timing.
