PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deep black dye mixture excellent in properties such as wet buildup fastness, dischargeability and storage stability in a concentrated solution and capable of giving non-bluish dyeing by selecting a mixture comprising disazo dye represented by formula I and a momoazo dye represented by formula II. SOLUTION: This mixture comprises at least one disazo dye represented by formula I and at least 3mol%, based on the total weight of the dyes, at least one monoazo dye represented by formula II. In the formulas, M is hydrogen or an alkali metal; R<1> , R<3> and R5 are each hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, methoxyl, ethoxyl or sulfo; R<2> , R<4> and R<6> are each hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, methoxyl or ethyoxyl; Y is vinyl,β-chlorioethyl or the like; R is hydrogen or sulfo in position 3 or 4 of a 6-sulfo-8-hydroxynaphthyl-7group; X and Z are each chlorine, hydroxyl or the like.
