PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound useful as an antimicrobial agent/ antitumor agent against Halicobacter pylori. SOLUTION: This compound is shown by formula I [W is a group shown by formula II (R1 and R2 are each H, a lower alkoxy, alkenyloxy or halogen; R3 and R3 ' are each methyl, prenyl or geranyl; and X is O or S) or by formula III (R10 is a lower alkyl; and R11 is a halogen); R4 to R6 are each H or a lower alkyl; Y is CH2 , O or the like; and (n) is 1-6] or its salt, e.g. a compound shown by formula IV. The compound shown by formula I is obtained by a known amido bond-forming method, such as the mixed acid anhydride, acid chloride, DCC, CDI or azide method, from a carboxylic acid shown by the formula WCOOH and an amine shown by formula V. |
