PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transmission efficiency and to reduce the circuit scale by using one circuit to conduct expansion processing of an input signal in time division in the case of reproducing a plurality of video signals on one screen simultaneously and using a video write use frame buffer for image synthesis in common. SOLUTION: A control circuit 2 selects an image to be displayed on a screen among a plurality of transmitted compressed video signals and an expansion circuit 1 applies code processing to the selected image. A size conversion circuit 3 converts a size of video data into a size to be displayed on a screen and a multiplexed video signal is written in frame memories 5, 6 in the unit of frames under the control of a control circuit 4. The memory control circuit 4 reads alternately the video signal in the unit of frames from the frame memories 5, 6 and writes alternately to the frame memories 5, 6. A display processing circuit 7 converts a format and provides the output of a video signal. |
