PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically preserve fresh drinking water at all times for the stop of tapped water caused by a disaster such as earthquake. SOLUTION: A water tank 4 for preserving tapped water 3 supplied from water piping 2 is installed above a low tank 7. The water tank 4 is provided with a valve 9 with float for automatically stopping supplying water from the water piping 2 when the prescribed quantity of tapped water 3 is preserved, a water feeding pipe 6 for guiding the tapped water 3 in the water tank 4 to the low tank 7, and a tapped water take-out pipe 6 with valve provided on the water supply pipe 6 while being branched. When water 19 in the low tank 7 is decreased, usually, the tapped water 3 in the water tank 4 is led through the water feeding pipe 6 to the low tank 7. Besides, when the tapped water 3 in the water tank 4 is decreased, the valve 9 is opened and water is supplied from the water piping 2. When a valve 10 is opened, the tapped water 3 in the water tank 4 is taken out as water for drinking. |
