PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate various fractal pictures and to generate a non- determinismic fractal picture by selecting a generation function to be used for every stage of a repetition process from a generation function set containing plural different generation functions. SOLUTION: A fractal picture generation part 103 inputs information of an initial graphic and the number of repetition times through an input part 102. Then, conversion FI is selected from the generation function set S, and an expression Kn=Fi(Kn-1 ) and FiεS are applied to selected conversion FI and a set Kn is obtained. The set Kn obtained after repetition for n-times is drawn on a complex plane. The set Kn can be drawn by overlapping it on the picture which is previously drawn on the complex plane. When it reaches the necessary number of repetition times (inputted number of times), the generated picture drawn on the complex plane is outputted through an output part 104. Thus, the various fractal pictures can be generated by using a simple formula shown by the determinismic fractal pictures.
