PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce required memory capacity in a person authentification system and to provide a person authentification system and the person authentification method with high security. SOLUTION: Fingerprint image information of a finger 1 is fetched by a fingerprint reader/controller 8 with a CCD 6 and an A/D converter 7, etc. Furthermore, a thermal head 9 is driven based on the fingerprint image information and an invisible ink ribbon 10 is pressed against a surface of a card 11 while being heated by the fingerprint reader/controller 8. Consequently, a fingerprint image is printed on the surface of the card 11 by the invisible ink. And, in a terminal device 40, person authentification is performed by comparing the fingerprint image printed on the card 11 with the fingerprint image of a user's finger. |
