PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output apparatus which can output normally as much as possible even when an emission function of light beams for light-sensing fails. SOLUTION: At the time of a normal operation, two lines are recorded at the same time on an electrostatic drum with the use of two light-emitting parts of a semiconductor laser (steps S603, S604). When a light-emitting part 2 loses light-sensing efficiency, only a normal light-emitting part 1 is used to record (steps S607, S608). All image signals are fed to the normal light-emitting part 1, and a rotational speed of the electrostatic drum is reduced to half (step S608). Accordingly, images are formed in the same manner as when the two lines are recorded at the same time. |
