<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the versatility of a coordinate detection device and to simplify constitution by selecting a desired output mode with an operation for depressing a coordinate input panel by means of a pen and a finger, converting the coordinate at the output mode and transmitting it to a terminal- side. SOLUTION: A user depresses a coordinate input panel 1 at a depression mode corresponding to the desired output mode. A depression mode discriminating part 8 discriminate with which depression mode the depressed mode inputted to the coordinate input panel 1 is matched. When the matched depression mode exists, control part 6 is informed of the identification number and the control part 6 reads the output mode corresponding to the identification number from a storage part 7. The coordinate of an input point which the user inputs is detected by a coordinate detection part 5. The detected coordinate is sent to the control part 6 and the control part 6 converts the coordinate at the output mode and generates output data. When an inch mode is read as an output mode, for example, the coordinate is converted into a value displayed by inches. Then, output data is sent to a terminal.</p> |
