<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endless belt device in an image forming equipment which is simple in structure, low in cost, capable of being mounted on the equipment for home use or a compact equipment, and capable of easily and correctly eliminating the walk of the endless belt by a user. SOLUTION: This endless belt device comprises an endless belt 2 which is stretched over and supported by a plurality of rolls of a belt supporting means including a drive roll 4 and a steering roll 3, a belt movement detecting means 10 which is arranged on either side or each side of the steering roll 3 and detects the movement in the axial direction of the roll by abutting a side edge part of the endless belt when the endless belt 2 is moved in the axial direction of the steering roll 3, a means to indicate the regulating direction and/or the regulating quantity of the alignment of the steering roll when the movement in the axial direction of the endless belt 2 detected by the belt movement detecting means 10 exceeds the prescribed value, and a means to manually regulate the alignment of the steering roll 3.</p> |
