<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of an operator by adopting a configuration that communication is automatically controlled in the case that it is detected that a signal received at an earphone microphone keeps a prescribed level or over for a prescribed period in a non-speech state so as to control the communication automatically with a simple configuration and method without the need for an exclusive connector and a complicated circuit. SOLUTION: A control section 65 discriminates whether or not a reception signal outputted to an earphone microphone is at a prescribed level or over for a prescribed period depending whether or not a voltage level applied to a reception signal terminal of an earphone microphone terminal 51 at a prescribed level or over for a prescribed period. When the reception signal has a prescribed level or over for a prescribed period, the call is connected. On the other hand, when its own device is busy, the usual speech state processing is conducted when the voltage level applied to a transmission signal terminal or the reception signal terminal of the earphone microphone terminal 51 is at a prescribed level or over for a prescribed period. When the voltage level is not at a prescribed level or over for a prescribed period, the call with a host is interrupted.</p> |
