PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer member for packing simple to assemble, easy to fed and inserted into both ends of a cubic box body to be fitted to the same packing into a main body housing box without using foamed styrol. SOLUTION: A buffer member for packing inserted into both ends of a thin cubic box body 500 to protect the box body from an impact is obtained by forming fold lines or semi-cutting lines to rectangular corrugated cardboard to bend said cardboard to form a member 100 having an almost horizontal U-shape cross-section so that the height H between upper and lower corrugated cardboard panels becomes almost same to that of the box body and a pair of slits are formed to the respective upper and lower corrugated cardboard panels so as to be mutually isolated by the width W almost same to that of the box body. Also a pair of members 200, 200 having an almost U-shape cross section having slits formed thereto so as to be isolated by the width almost same to the height H of the box body are formed by bending the corrugated cardboard panel and these slits are meshed with the slits formed to both ends of the member 100 having an almost U-shape cross section and the members 100, 200 are assembled so as to mutually cross at a right angle to obtain the buffer member for packing. |
